Bosman

Hi there, I've just been enjoying your article on Bosman to which I've added another category (South African writers). I was also thinking of italicising the book names in the bibliography as well as in the text. Would you object to this? Further, a lot of other pages seem to use the style where the ISBN goes last in the ref (eg in [Sources]). Would you mind if I faffed around to make your list look like this? Please see the talk page of the article and its editing summaries. I moved your comment from my talk page to that article's talk page and replied there. Please consult the links re: proper citations for biographies of living persons and in general. The ones that you added violate WP:SPAM and WP:Advert as well as WP:BLP, WP:V#Sources and WP:EL. Proper full citations to reliable third-party published sources are needed; "Iain Fisher"'s self-published site and his self-published message boards are not third-party publications and he is not a recognized authority on the subjects; his site is an unofficial fansite and his message boards do not meet the threshold as a reliable source in Wikipedia. (I do not plan to edit this article further; I simply came across it coincidentally while working on other things a few days ago. Most of the templates were already there before I encountered the article; it needs thorough re-writing according to them. I have decided to put on a mini-contest within the November 2013 monthly disambiguation contest, on Saturday, November 23 (UTC). I will personally give a $20 Amazon.com gift card to the disambiguator who fixes the most links on that server-day (see the project page for details on scoring points). Since we are not geared up to do an automated count for that day, at 00:00, 23 November 2013 (UTC) (which is 7:00 PM on November 22, EST), I'll take a screenshot of the project page leaderboard. I will presume that anyone who is not already listed on the leaderboard has precisely nine edits. At 01:00, 24 November 2013 (UTC) (8:00 PM on November 23, EST), I'll take a screenshot of the leaderboard at that time (the extra hour is to give the board time to update), and I will determine from that who our winner is. I will credit links fixed by turning a WP:DABCONCEPT page into an article, but you'll have to let me know me that you did so. Here's to a fun contest. Note that according to the Daily Disambig, we currently have under 256,000 disambiguation links to be fixed. Invitation to an in-person meetup in Mohua / Golden Bay

Thinking about your summer break? Think about joining other Wikipedians and Wikimedians in Golden Bay / Mohua! Details are on the meetup page. There's heaps of interesting stuff to work on e.g. the oldest extant waka or New Zealand's oldest ongoing legal case. Or you may spend your time taking photos and then upload them.

Golden Bay is hard to get to and the airline flying into Tākaka uses small planes, so we are holding some seats from and to Wellington and we are offering attendees a $200 travel subsidy to help with costs.
